After we did venn digram today I found most of  consonant letters are share between  my mother language which is Arabic just few sounds aren’t in Arabic like(P,V,Ch,Zh,Ng).
Same for vowels sounds just few sounds we don’t have in Arabic language (ow,o,uw,aw,u,and er)
After our class today I noticed that the sounds are so similar for English and Arabic.
I will try to learn how to spell the sounds that I don’t practice in my mother language.
Thank you Marcella .

  1. Yes - lots of similarities in English and Arabic sounds. But English definitely does not have the Arabic hard "HHHA" sound :)
My parent's first language, Dutch, or Hollandse, does have that sound, but even harder than Arabic! But English does not.

    A good reflection Farah!
